There's another chance to see Song of the Suburbs, my BFI Our Screen Heritage-funded short about the strange history of British suburbia, at Stockton's Arc on Wednesday 29th April. It's showing as part of a double-bill with Billy Liar, and I'll be doing another Q&A afterwards. Tickets are available here.
Amateur Ornithologist, that great and eldritch band of the North-East, are gearing up for the May 15th release of their new album The Haunted Life of Architecture. I made the video for their new single 'Decoupage', an ode to the art of cutting out and preserving the important things in life. You can see that on the Music Videos page of this site.
Finally, something completely different. I made an acting appearance in Walk, a short film by Ian Robinson. It's the third instalment of his Fragments series, which can be viewed here. This is the film I'm in:
